I wanted to start by saying that I hope everybody had a fantastic holiday season and new year! I’ve got a bunch of stuff in the hopper for this little blog for the coming year, so be sure to stay tuned to find out what’s ahead
Social networking sites are popping up everywhere. Bookmarks, videos, pictures, you name it - there’s a website out there that will let you share all of this stuff and more with all of your Internet-aware buddies.
But even for those who haven’t drank this particular flavor of kool-aid yet, the name ‘Facebook‘ is quickly becoming the most notable example of social networking (except, perhaps, the oft-loathed MySpace). Everybody and their college-aged buddy has an account, and many people live and die by it as a way of interacting with current friends, as well as making new ones.
So, how is a budding blogger to tap into this gigantic group of potential new readers and subscribers? Well, I’m glad you asked…
My good buddy Glen (proprietor of LifeDev.net and my partner in the LifeRemix network) has launched a brand new service that lets ordinary bloggers transform their blogs into full-blown Facebook applications! It couldn’t possibly be any easier - just answer a few simple questions about your blog, go through the slick little wizard and you’re off and running. It takes only a few minutes and requires absolutely no programming knowledge!
The best part is, the application is hosted on the Blogfuse server - which means that no matter how popular your Facebook app becomes, you never have to worry about downtime. And, if you ever decide to move your blog or change your format, the app moves right along with you.
He has plans starting at $5 per month (just imagine skipping your daily Venti Mocha from Starbucks ™ once per month - there, paid for). If you’re a serious blogger, you can sign up for the Problogger package which allows you to host up to 10 Facebook apps!
And just to whet your appetites a little, I’ve got some free stuff to give away…
The first 5 people to comment on this post will win a free, lifetime Problogger subscription on this new service. At $30 per month, this is no trivial thing - $360 per year for as long as you stay on board!
These are sure to fly off the shelves, so get your comments in and do it quick - and be sure to include an email address in the provided field so I can send you the 411. Good luck!

This seems like a pretty good idea. After watching the introductory vid on the blogfuse site, it seemed like an even better idea. Am interested…
I like the sound of this app. The introductory vid on the blogfuse site made it look even more inviting. Am interested…
Sounds like a very interesting service to make life a bit easier. Very interested!
Wow. Just what i have been looking for!
This is one cool app! There ability to reach out to so many Facebook users is just amazing. I am indeed interested!
Wicked cool. Sign me up!
Sounds like an interesting prospect, but what advantages are there to this as opposed to having people use my rss feed?
I must be missing something here. I’m not a regular Facebook user, but there MUST be some application that enables you to put an RSS feed on Facebook. Isn’t that what this is doing?
Certainly seems like a great idea. I wish Glen well.
I’m not sure how this would be better than the RSS feed poster app … ‘Blog RSS Feed Reader’ by William Web Design is free and on facebook already, I see a lot of people using it. Anything this gives you extra (other than a hole in your wallet where money for a cuppa joe used to reside)?
I have my blog feed automatically to Facebook as Notes (so no apps required), but this app sounds like an effective way of promoting a blog. From what I can make of the promotional text & vids, it would probably work very well for my plans, so I’m very interested in seeing it in action.
I must admit to not having a clue about any RSS feed poster apps in Facebook that are out there right now. Either way, this seems to have come along at quite a good time for me, so I hope it does what I think it’s meant to do…fingers crossed!
Looks like an easy way in. Going there now! Did you say first 5….or, um 15?

Anyone hear anything more on this? I was one of the first 5 but haven’t heard a thing. Am I missing something?

I just emailed all 5 winners - keep your shirt on
