Friday Fun: Personal Stuff and The Best Video Ever

You all might have noticed that things have slowed down a bit here at the old CW. Well, there are a couple of reasons why:

First, I’ve recently accepted an offer with a new employer doing web development with PHP, Flash and other stuff (which I’m terribly excited about). This coming week will be my last week at my current job, so I’m hip-deep in documentation and baton-passing. I’ve also got quite a bit of learning ahead of me, so most of my evenings are spent with my nose in books about programming languages. Fun stuff, indeed.

Second, the arrival of my daughter is imminent. We’re getting very close to the final month (which means that the baby could show up anytime), and my wife is rocking like a rock star (taking care of our son, keeping our house in order). But, as many fathers know, Mom tends to run out of gas pretty quickly during the final stages of pregnancy, so I’m trying to help out however I can around the house.

So, apologies for the lack of fun and interesting (snicker) posts over the last couple weeks. Life has been especially hectic and there should be some relief soon. Thanks for understanding!

I’d now like to present you with one of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen (seriously). Have a great weekend everybody, and keep on crankin’.

Hope the coming days and weeks go well, focus on what’s important - the blog will keep. Reading your post about sleep I’m reassured that you find it a “completely expendable activity” as I’m sure there are going to be a few disturbed nights ahead.

Congrats on the new job and the new addition to your family. Don’t worry about us - I’m sure nobody unsubscribed because of your lack of recent content. You need all the time you can get.

I’m sorry, it’s just like what?

Seriously, 2 minutes of the same very short lines over and over again. If he hadn’t started dancing, I would have stopped at the first minute. ;-)

Congrats on the job and kid! The ultimate tests of one’s GTD system. :)
