I personally think that Big G is not really giving much weight to comment links anyway. I have a "nofollow" identifier turned on so I can see which places on the web give up some link love and which don't. I personally think that Google or any other SE shouldn't be trying to dictate how links are attributed. I was floored recently when I saw that a company selling link comparison/analysis software was "nofollow/noindexing" the links to the companies featured on their testimonials.
