They are the best invention around for keeping track of things, acting as reminders and all around information carriers. I've got post it notes all over the place would be lost without them. I even put one on the coffee pot at night to remnd myself of thngs to do before going to work. I never miss it there. Post it notes! If for some reason I need to write myself a note, I put a post-it note on the inside of the driver's window. (BTW, I keep about 6 of them in the pocket of my moleskine in case I'm in transit.) Because I take my laptop home every day, I also stick either post it notes on it (Buy more Folgers coffee--just kidding, Brett:-) or the item I want to take next to my laptop bag. I do that (kinda) at work, where I have an area with all the stuff I'm going to take home. If there's a paper I need to take home, I put it with the other stuff. At home, when I'm getting ready to leave, I lay out my stuff (keys, wallet, watch, etc) on the kitchen table, and I'll add anything I want to remember to bring with this stuff. It works quite well.
