Very cool!

A kind of odd question came to mind as I was looking at the pictures over on Flickr: What kind of car (hot rod?) do you have with a steel dashboard?

Be well,
Doug

My god...this idea is so simple, yet so brilliant...I love you... no really, I do. I'm an orginizational freak and HATE having my index cards in an inconvenient space (I'm a college student who uses any spare time to study, so I use dozens on any daily basis). I'm going to make one of these right now!! I can't even handle how stupid I feel for not coming up with an idea like this myself! Thank you!! *skips away, all to ecstatic*

[...] GTD brings out the hobbyist in you January 25th, 2007 by David Allen When you look in the GTD-blogosphere you will see that the system brings out the hacker, the hobbyist, in most people. I think because of the nature of GTD and the way most products are made, very non-productive. For some reason, people mutilate their Moleskine or built extensive print-templates to get productive. I am not here to ridicule those projects. No way. I am very impressed by most of them. And every now and again, some little hacks come to light, so simple, so small. You think to yourself "Why didn't I think of that?" Check out what Brett did over on the Cranking Widgets weblog with a box of Jell-O's and a magnet. Made a very simple Index Card Dispenser. So simple, yet so ingenious. Why buy extensive gear when you can DIY? [...]

Ohh I gotta make me some of these, I've always got index cards floating around in the bottom of my bag or strewn across the computer table.

My wife would love it! (Although she would probably decorate it with some sort of scrapbooking artwork or something!).

Thanks for the post!

If I were you, I would have made up that pudding as a reward for such an inventive and brilliant idea. Very smart thinking. I would remind everyone that you should use a hard drive that you NEVER EVER want to use again.
