I am sure there are many out there... I ran across jot.com and love it. While zooming (well actually more like sitting on the 405) I can call Jot from my cell and tell it to jot an email to myself (or others). It transcribes the message and sends it to me... I have loaded up my assistant & wife's email into jot's system so I can send stuff off to them as well. It keeps a copy of all messages and even has a link to listen to the audio if needed....

Opps... I am sounding like an ad. Not really my intent... Just wanted to share the best solution I have come up with for the car...

Be well,
Doug Miller

LOL! Fun post Brett and very recognizable. When I started reading I thought "oh man, I have the same in the car, shower and bed" and you exactly hit those three places. I went even further. Because I didn't have a nightstand, I went out and bought a new bed with one! No just kidding. We were planning on buying a new bed and I insisted it has nightstands. My wish is granted. Car: I have a stack of 3x5 notes and a pen. Whenever I think of something I do scribble it down. Sometimes I wait for a full stop but indeed, on the highway it's a bit risky. But I don't like another capturing tool like a voicerecorder...
Shower: difficult. I don't think my girlfriend would agree if I would scribble our new shower full of ideas, even if they are erasable. My only solution right now is to relax and unwind in the shower and not have to many thoughts. That way, nothing new can pop up....
