		<description>The system is really messed up. It is not for the people on a tight budget. I guess we, poor people, just have to make lines everywhere we go, specially at pump stations. I hate this. I miss the time where stores would let you pump before you pay</description>

		<description>The way most of these systems work now is they do a &quot;preauthorization&quot; for $100 because they don&#039;t know ahead of time how much gas you will pump, then when you finish they do a &quot;post authorization&quot; for the exact amount that you spent.  Therefore you available credit balance is only reduced by the amount of the charge once the transaction is completed.  

The big downside with paying inside is having to stand behind morons buying scratch-off tickets. :)</description>

		<description>What are the circumstances in which someone can capture your information from your debit card or credit card whil you have an active transaction in progress (i.e., the pump is running and you go inside because you have to use the bathroom)?  I have heard that someone can walk up to the pump, slide a card into the slot on the pump, and the pump will write information to the card.  The perp can walk away and no one is the wiser until they start running up charges.  Can this work?</description>
